Fund-Raising

We rely entirely on donations, grants and fund-raising to keep our vital work going.

Donations:

Although we do not make a formal charge for our service, and our volunteers kindly give their time for free, we do accept and encourage donations from anyone who can afford to do so. Large or small, it all helps us with our running costs, ensuring we are able to sustain our service long into the future.

The overall cost to Saltstone Caring for providing a weekly volunteer visit is £11 per visit.  This includes staff and office costs, promotion, volunteer expenses, and all the resources necessary in running an efficient service.

If you’d like to give on a more regular basis, then please consider a direct debit.  You’ll find the form here – and if you are a UK taxpayer, then we can benefit from Gift Aid too!  Please complete the form and return it to the address below.

Alternatively, you can donate by text with JustTextGiving. You can donate £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 and £10 by texting SALT12 £5 (or other amount) to 70070. This will then be deducted from your mobile phone credit or added to your mobile phone bill.
